QUICK TAKE:
Swedish skate company Polar Skate Co. links up with Nike SB to give us some clean colorways to shred this summer. While the more exciting of the two pairs is the Nike SB Air Trainer 1, which has not seen many releases in recent years, this Nike SB Blazer Low colorway is also sure to look extra sleek on-feet, and on-board.
DESIGN:
This Polar Skate Co. collaboration is the perfect summer skate shoe. Featuring a white suede upper, a lustrous blue is used for the Swoosh and embroidered Polar branding on the heel and tongue. The shoe is finished off with a vintage-style foam tongue, special plastic eyelets, and Polar branding is overlapped by a pop of red in the Nike Swoosh.
ANALYSIS:
Polar consistently churns out simple-yet-effective designs. The skate brand knows where suede is needed, and understand how to make a clean model even cleaner with simple, deep colors. This is another great collaboration for both the Swoosh and the Swedish skate company.
