In 2018, Parra teamed up with Nike to release a whimsical, unique colorway for the legendary Air Max 1 (pictured below). This time around, the Swoosh has given Parra free reign to develop a Nike SB shoe, which will release later this year.
The shoe takes inspiration from the Nike Air Max 1 “Parra” shoe we previously mentioned. Parra uses a mixture of pink, purple, red, and blue hues to decorate the tongue tag, interior of the shoe, and on the Swooshes. In a move that has become common for Nike in the last two years, the Swooshes on the sides of the shoes are multiplied and overlap each other. Otherwise, the sneaker has a clean white leather base.
This collaboration will be nothing but another big win for Nike. The Nike SB Dunk low is already beginning to have a resurgence with some exceptional General Release colorways in recent months, and this collaboration that pays homage to the Nike Air Max 1 colorway of 2018 is a perfect combination for sneakerheads.
There is no official release information yet, but we’ll keep you posted as we get more information.
