More information regarding this year’s Parra x Nike SB collaboration has surfaced, giving us a glimpse at a second model, the Nike SB Blazer Low, and an official release date. The colorways featured a palette similar to last year’s Parra Nike Air Max 1.
While the Nike SB Dunk Low is iconic to sneakerheads, the Nike SB Blazer Low has been the more popular model for skaters in recent years, and deservedly gets the Piet Parra treatment, as well. The artist uses a smooth white leather upper and a white midsole. The color pop comes from the quadruple-stacked Nike Swoosh, which starts with a blue Swoosh, then progressively lightening shades of red. The shoe’s liner and tongue tag feature a mosaic pattern again using the the blue and light red colors used for the Swoosh.
This is another great edition to what may be the biggest Nike SB release of the summer, if not the entire year. The clean white colorway and bright colors are perfect for the end of the summer, and this more subdued iteration of Parra’s styling is sure to be a hit with fans of the 2018 collaboration.
The Parra x Nike SB Blazer low will release along with the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low on July 26th along side a similarly themed apparel collection.
