QUICK TAKE:
Atmos continues its increasingly hotter and hotter Nike collaborations this summer, officially debuting the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Animal Pack 3.0’ in recent days. The brand has already launched multiple variations of its Atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light model, but this Animal Pack will really get sneakerheads going.
DESIGN:
The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 3.0 will include three different Air Max 1s done in Tiger, Leopard or Cow animal print. Each of these pair opts for only one print throughout the pony hair uppers, unlike previous renditions of the Animal Pack. The only contrast on the upper is the bright coloring used on the Swooshes and heel branding: Blue (Tiger), Orange (Leopard) and Green (Cow). Black laces, Black lining, a white midsole and a tri-colored outsole complete the look.
ANALYSIS:
The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 3 may be the tamest yet- but arguably the most wearable due to this. The upper being completely covered is less distracting, and the more I look at each model, I like them more. The brightly-colored Swooshes and matching branding/sole are the perfect amount of color to break up the complete animal print. Even the horsehair does not look excessively gaudy. Overall, another great summer release from the Atmost and Nike.
RELEASE INFORMATION:
atmos has announced that their Nike Air Max 1 DLX Animal 3.0 Pack will release on July 13th online and at their Japan locations. No word on price yet, but we will inform as soon as possible!
