size? is back again with another special sneaker: a new Nike Shox TL dubbed the “Viotech.” The Nike Shox TL was the first Shox model to feature a full midsole of Shox technology. This “Viotech” colorway nods to classic releases of both the Nike Dunk and Air Max 1.
The base of the shoe is a white multi-layer, webbed netting overlayed by a metallic silver mesh. A striking purple is used on the lateral Swooshes, eyestays, and on heel. Mismatched red and blue Swooshes are used on the medial part of the shoe. Finally, the Nike Shox TL “Viotech” rests on a midsole of white Shox tech, with a finishing gum outsole. The classic Nike Shox logo is featured in lime green on the tongue and heel, with gold trim wrapping up the final product.
While most sneakerheads have a love-hate relationship with the Nike Shox program, this model should see decent respect from all. First off, size? always produces high-quality collaborations, and this colorway is no different. The ‘toxic’ colors fit the futuristic tech direction footwear is headed. In the same way, the metallic tendrils crossing the shoes upper and the pseudo- chunkiness of the Shox midsole fit passing dad shoe irony with the look of a new Nike Air Max model.
This Nike Shox “Viotech” colorway will release exclusively at size? stores and on the size? preview app July 6th for £150 — which translates to roughly $170 USD.
