QUICK TAKE:
The Nike Max 720 OBJ gets a second colorway, following the wild “Young King of the Drip” colorway that the shoe initially debuted in. This time around, a toned down tan gives a much cleaner more subtly flashy vibe for the “Desert Ore” rendition of this new model.

DESIGN:
The Nike Air Max 720 OBJ is an excellent athleisure piece. This model uses tans and grays to show off the multiple layers of leather, mesh, and suede that make up the OBJ upper. Special details include a velcro tongue patch, varsity red pops, a luxury cork insole, and a pull tab on the medial part of the upper ‘s opening. Classic Nike football logos are employed throughout the model as well. Finally, the shoe sits on a picturesque Nike Air Max 720 air unit.

ANALYSIS:
The Nike Air Max OBJ 720 is a beautiful model, and this time we get to see it in a more basic colorway than before, allowing for true appreciation of the awesome layering and pattern work on the shoe. The upper also does a great job of minimizing the sometimes gaudy size of the Air Max 720 midsole bubble, which can seem extreme on other models. With the amount of detail in the upper, there are some reminders of the Nike Air Max 98 model.

RELEASE INFORMATION:
Expect an official release later this summer for $200 USD.
