Images of the newest Yeezy Boost 700 “Inertia” have been leaked by adidas repeatedly since the end of 2018, but official photos of the shoes have finally been released today. This new blue colorway, dubbed the “Inertia” will drop this Spring.
Design:
The YEEZY BOOST 700 “Inertia” features the same premium leather, suede and mesh as previous models, but this time around it is draped in a beautiful blue colorway, with coral heel hits and a cream gum sole. The shoe also has a full length BOOST midsole.
Analysis:
This new YEEZY BOOST 700 colorway will be perfect for the Spring. Most recently, YEEZY released a mauve colorway of the YEEZY BOOST 700. The colorway was solid, but the shoe failed to immediately sell out on its release date, and saw lower resale value than previous models. This drop-off in desire came from a variety of places. Kanye had doubled-down on his ‘MAGA’ stance, which turned away some fans, while others were beginning to get annoyed by the high price tag on shoes that Kanye was also saying he wanted “everyone to be able to own”.
It’s a new year, though, and the solid execution of a blue color palette on my personal favorite YEEZY BOOST model shoe see hypebeasts and sneaker connoisseurs attempting to cop as usual.

The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Inertia” will release globally on March 9th for $300 USD. The shoes will be available via the adidas web store, YEEZY SUPPLY, and other select retailers.
