UPDATE:
An official stateside launch has yet to be confirmed, but the Slam Jam x Nike Blazer “Class of 1977” is expected to arrive internationally via Nike SNEAKRS for $125 USD on February 22.
The 95th edition of Florence, Italy’s bi-annual fashion event, Pitti Uomo, occurs next week. Italian Fashion retailer, Slam Jam, plan to celebrate the event and its own 30th anniversary with an exclusive take on the iconic Nike Blazer Vintage 1977 silhouette.

Slam Jam’s rendition of the Nike Blazer Vintage 1977 starts with a timeless white and grey upper with black accenting and a bold black leather swoosh, topped with the classic red-orange Nike Swoosh logo. While the lateral (exterior) side swoosh is the usual, Slam Jam have flipped the medial (interior) Swoosh, giving the shoe a wavy, asymmetrical touch. Recently Nike and its collaborators have found more and more unique ways to don the Swoosh on various models (Travis Scott upcoming AJ1 models feature a backwards swoosh), and this model continues to push the theme.
The shoes have been dubbed the “Class 1977”, which, of course, is embossed on the ankles. At this point, if you want to get your hands on a pair, you’ll need to be at the special Slam Jam pop-up occurring at the Museum Shop of the Museo Marino Marni on January 8th.
