Jordan Brand is always looking for ways to freshen up their original line of retro sneakers with various colorways and material enhancements. The Air Jordan 1 has seen many manipulations to its iconic silhouette, and this time JB pulls out all the stops to take a very different approach to the model.
Design:
This model focuses on deconstruction and different levels of distressing- with a little surprising yellow Swoosh pop. At first glance (from the lateral view of the left shoe), the Air Jordan 1 “Dynamic Yellow” has a black and white leather upper, with distinct red stitching. The Swoosh on the lateral side of the left shoe and medial side of right is a deconstructed red stitching. However, on the opposite sides of the shoes, a vibrant yellow Swoosh pops of the shoe.
Analysis:
This is another way that sneaker brands continue to elevate the construction of footwear, and the idea of creating a ‘unique’ shoe for every consumer. These Air Jordan 1’s will definitely stand out compared to more basic editions of the model.
