Stüssy x Nike SB First Looks: Nike SB Zoom Low and Mid

In late November, Tremaine Emory, aka @denimtears of No Vacancy Inn fame, posted images of an exclusive Stussy x Nike SB x Lance Mountain hand-painted  Nike SB Blazer Mid he had received. The shoe, featured below, had a tan base, black swoosh, and Lance-original spray paint to imitate a leopard print. The unique colorway alludes to the classic wild and zany Stüssy motif. Alas, according to the packaging, this was only #6 of 48 pairs, causing some to fear the collaboration would be too limited to ever see the light of day.

Since then, Stüssy has officially revealed its  newest collaborations with the Swoosh. The legendary surf and streetwear brand has worked with the world’s biggest athletic brand before, and this time the two took it back to the basics with a Nike SB Blazer Mid and Low pack.  The Blazer Mid used in Mountain’s exclusive shoes returns, complete with a shaggy, distressed suede upper in a light tan, with a contrasting black Swoosh and laces. The shoe is finished off with Stüssy branding prominently on the tongue and heel tabs.

The Stüssy x Nike SB Blazer Mid is paired with a low-top variant, as well. The Nike SB Blazer low features a “Palm Green” upper and a light-tan swoosh that contrasts the Mid-top iteration. The shoe has the same roughed-up, thick suede, perfect for onboard use. Stüssy branding can be found on the tongue, heel tab, and within the shoe on the footbed, as well.

It’s always great to see these two iconic brands working together, especially when the end result is an incredibly functional, wearable product. Look for these to drop December 8th.
