Quick Take:
For the 30th anniversary of the legendary Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand brings us a unique, modernized take on one of the most well-known silhouettes in the Jordan line. This time, bright colors and Nike Flyknit technology are used to bring the shoes to life in a totally new way.
Design:
The collection is very straight forward. Jordan Brand took the normal AJ4 model and developed an all-Flyknit upper, slapping it on the classic sole. The shoes are all fully doused in neon colors, including Game Royal, Orange, University Red and Volt.
Analysis:
This 30th Anniversary release is releasing in distinct region specific colorways that we mentioned before. The combination of Nike’s Flyknit upper and the classic basketball sneaker mix two very different parts of the sneaker world. Generally, the AJ4 dons all leather, so this is a very different take.
Release Info:
Look for the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit on June 14. Those aforementioned regional drops will be announced at a later time.
