The first images of the official Nike SB 4/20 release have been revealed, thanks to @thehypecollector. This year, the Swoosh’s skateboarding division will be creating an exciting Nike SB Dunk Hi for the occasion.
Design:
Nike SB did not hold back for this special edition sneaker, bringing together a variety of unique materials and patterns. A thick forest green suede is used around the toe box, general structure, and eyelets. Brown horsehair is used on the ankle, with black on the tongue, and finally a speckled hair in the middle portion of the shoe. This is all strapped down with a bright red Swoosh.
Analysis:
While Nike has made it a tradition of dropping a special 4/20 shoe, they generally do not openly promote the connection to the holiday. However, while past pairs have had a stricter connection to a specific plant, this pair have a look that reminds of the Flintstones. Still, the materials used and zany look of the shoe keep it on the mark for what is expected.

UPDATE: Nike SB Dunk High “Dog Walker” is the celebrated 4/20 SB release this year. Look for the drop on April 20 at select Nike SB retailers for $120 USD.
