Converse turns back the clock with another variation of the ever-popular Chuck Taylor 70 High. This time around, the American-born shoe brand adds some premium features to the classic, giving it some comfortable updates. Firstly, an elastic, striped tube sock design has been added to the heel of the shoe. This mimics the classic basketball sock, while also providing the wearer with extra comfort and a snugger fit.
The new Chuck Taylor 70 offers two matte uppers in choice of black, or white suede. Along with the tube sock edition, this premium model also features metal eyelets, waxed laces, and a leather embossed Converse logo stitched on.
With all its new embellishments, the new Chuck Taylor 70 High retails at $90 USD, and is now available on Converse’s website and at select retailers.
