Official Look: KITH x New Balance x Nonnative x United Arrows & Sons 2018

Last week, Ronnie Fieg teased the first images of the Kith x United Arrows & Sons x nonnative x New Balance 2018 collaboration. Fieg established himself and built his empire, KITH,from these now-famous collaborations. This latest New Balance collection was inspired by Fieg’s personal favorite NB shoes of all time: New Balance collaborations with Arrows & Sons and nonnative on the 997.5 model, which are depicted below. Fieg worked with both brands to create the six-sneaker set that will release next week.

The impending collection will include six new colorways across three silhouettes: the 997 OG, the 997S,and the 997S Fusion. The 997 OG retains its usual form, while the 997S introduces a progressive version of the model, featuring a revamped upper and neoprene construction.  Finally, the 997S Fusion retains the original 997 upper while incorporating modernized ENCAP Reveal tooling. The coloring of this new set of sneakers takes inspiration from the original collaborations. The UA & Sons collaboration features gray, pink, and purple hues, while the nonnative pairs use black, brown, and a popping cobalt blue.

The shoes are already solid at first glance, but the true beauty is in the extreme details Fieg is known for. The 997 OG models both feature an extreme focus on quality materials- the UA & Sons model uses pigskin suede and rich leathers while the nonnative pair incorporates exotic pony hair and ostrich-pattern leather. Fieg himself also called attention to the midfoot ‘N’ logo, which features a triple-layered design which nods to the three collaborating brands.

The entire KITH x New balancecollection will drop in KITH stores and online via KITH, United Arrows &Sons, and nonnative on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 11am EST. The United Arrows &Sons and nonnative retail locations will launch on Thursday, Nov 22. Now that we’ve seen the entire lineup, which pair is your favorite? Check out the rest of the photos below:
